Kelly Dobeck is an American meteorologist working for WOIO as a meteorologist at 9 a.m. and a morning anchor from 4:30 to 8 a.m. on 19 News this morning. She joined the station in November 2018 as a meteorologist. Before moving to Northeast Ohio, she tracked tornadoes as a meteorologist and morning reporter at KARK/KLRT in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Dobeck worked as a meteorologist at WRDW/WAGT in Augusta, Georgia. There, she tracked severe weather during the Master’s tournament. Her news and science history has taken her to numerous places including computing rain gauges in the Great Smoky Mountains, forecasting orographic lifting snow in the Carolina Mountains, working for NASA, classifying tropical cyclones, launching weather balloons into snowstorms, and ice storm forecasting in the south. Further, she has an amateur radio license, KD8TWX.
