Before working at WWSB-TV, Kelsie served as a morning reporter and anchor at TEGNA in Memphis, Tennessee. During her time there, she covered major breaking news including government issues and crime cases. Cairns worked for the station for two years from June 2019 to June 2021.
She started her career at WMDT-TV 47 as a nightside producer and reporter from May 2018 to April 2019. Earlier, Kelsie served as an anchor and reporter at Centre County Report from August 2017 to December 2017. Her roles included editing, pitching stories, writing scripts, and shooting videos. For her excellent work, she was honored with the Emmy Award-winning for the best reporter.
