Keneisha Deas is an American Journalist working at WZDX FOX54 as the main anchor since September 2022. She joined WZDX in January 2020 as a weekend anchor. Previously, she worked for WMBB in Panama City, Florida as a multimedia journalist and reporter for 2 years.
Keneisha Deas Education
Deas joined Broward College in 2009 when she completed her high school education. In 2011, she graduated with an Associate Of Arts degree in Marketing. While there, she was Phi Theta Kappa (Treasurer), The Honors Institute, Aspira, and The Observer Newspaper.
Deas then joined Howard University and in 2014, graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Journalism. During her time at Howard University, she worked for the student-run newspaper, The Hilltop, as a Metro Editor. Also, she worked as an intern for WUSA9) in D.C., and was a writer for Howard University News Service. Also, she had the chance to interview C.T. Vivian, a civil rights activist, and Gloria Steinem, a feminist icon, at the White House in 2013.
Deas served WHUT-TV32 PBS Spotlight Network as a reporter from 2011 to 2013. There, her stories were aired every Monday at 4, on Howard University’s dormitories channel 4. She also wrote for 101 Magazine from January 2012 to October 2012.

Previously, she worked for WMBB in Panama City, Florida as a multimedia journalist and reporter. Before WMBB, she served WSVN CHANNEL 7 in Miami, Florida as a news writer for a year and a half. She was a Social Media Coordinator at Urban Grace Media Management from June 2014 to July 2015.
