During her career, she has won multiple awards including a 2016 Regional Edward R. Murrow Best News Documentary Award for “Childhood Lost.” That same year, she won a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award and the VA Association of Broadcasters Award for “The Long Goodbye.” From 2017 to 2019, she won the VA Association of Broadcasters Award for Best Morning Show. In 2018, she won the Public Relations Society of America Blue Ridge Award for Media Excellence.
