Lauren Andrego is an American Anchor and Reporter working for KMSP as the traffic reporter for the FOX 9 Morning News since joining the station in September 2024. Previously, she worked as a producer and reporter for Minnesota Live at KSTP-TV in St. Paul, Minnesota, for 3 years.

Andrego attended Mankato East High School and graduated in the year 2014. Later on, she went on to join the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Journalism in 2018.
During her time in college, she interned with KARE 11 and Twin Cities Live at KSTP. Also, she worked as a writer for TommieMedia, their student-run news organization. Further, she broadcast St. Thomas football and called games for Tommie baseball, softball, basketball and volleyball.

Andrego works for KMSP as the traffic reporter for the FOX 9 Morning News. Previously, she worked as a producer and reporter for Minnesota Live at KSTP-TV in St. Paul, Minnesota, for 3 years. After graduating from college, she returned to her hometown to officially start her TV career. In 2018, she joined KEYC News Now in North Mankato as a weekend anchor. She spent three years there broadcasting the local news across southern Minnesota.
Andrego states that her favorite part about journalism is getting to meet new people each day and the thrill of delivering a live newscast. Also, she accredits her inspiration for the news to watching Good Morning American every day while eating cereal before heading off to Eagle Lake Elementary.
Besides her broadcasting work, Andrego is an ordained wedding officiant. She has also been a member of the National Press Photographers Association. Her motto in life is if one is not doing what he/she loves, then they are wasting their time.
