Lisa Adams is an American journalist working for WICU as an anchor of Erie News Now on WICU 12 and WSEE on weekend evenings. Additionally, she works as a reporter during the week. She joined the station in July 1978 and has served the station for more than 4 decades.

After graduating college, Adams started her career at WICU12 behind the scenes directing live news broadcasts. She was then promoted to work on camera as a reporter, producer, and anchor of the news. She has also taught courses in the Communications Department at Gannon University and taught a Confirmation Class at my church.
Adams has won awards for her journalism work. For instance, she won the PA Associated Press Broadcasters Association awards for enterprise and cooperative reporting. Also, she won Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters awards for documentaries on Erie’s link to the September 11th disaster and the 60th anniversary of WICU – Erie’s TV station. She believes the best compliment that she’s ever received from her viewers was being told that they trust her.
