Lisa Sacaccio is an American anchor/reporter working for WCJB TV20 as a morning and noon anchor. She joined WCJB in May 2020, after previously working at WTVY where she was also a morning and noon anchor.

Sacaccio joined New Dorp High School in 2008, where she graduated with a diploma in 2012. Lisa later studied at Campbell University where she graduated in 2016, with a Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting and electronic media.

Sacaccio works at WCJB TV20 as the morning/noon anchor. She began her journalism career in June 2016, as a multimedia journalist and producer after having graduated from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. After working at WTVY for 5 months, she was promoted to serving as the morning multimedia journalist and later as the morning/noon anchor in July 2017.

For the last 4 years, she has covered Hurricane Hermine and Hurricane Michael, interviewed; the Harlem Globetrotters, Food Network’s Giuliana Rancic, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey,  Broadway phenomenon Kristin Chenoweth, CBS’s Chris Martinez for NASA’s Apollo 11 50th Anniversary, former GMA host Joan Lunden, 2019 and 2017’s Miss Alabama, Alabama’s US Representatives Martha Roby and Bradley Byrne, and TV analyst and former NFL Falcons fullback Ovie Mughelli.

In addition, she also had a cameo on John Oliver’s, Last Week Tonight segment. Lisa worked with the “health beat,” while covering many medical stories such as the LifeFlight system and Wiregrass’s stroke network. She also did in-depth pieces on heart surgery, diabetes, recommended diets for cancer patients, neuroendovascular surgery, in-depth pieces on heart surgery, and breastfeeding.

Furthermore, while she was in Dothan, she had the opportunity to emcee at many events such as; Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies, pageants, and fundraisers. In Dothan Dancing with the Stars, Lisa was a professional dancer, and the show raised more than $50,000 for the Dothan Houston County Substance Abuse Partnership in addition to winning the Judges’ Choice.

She also starred in two plays with the nonprofit organization SEACT (Southeast Alabama Community Theatre). In SEACT’s 2020 musical known as Mamma Mia, she played  Lisa who was one of Sophie’s best friends in the musical and played the lead in SEACT’s 2019 musical, Chicago as the infamous jazz slayer Velma Kelly. In her spare time, she enjoys being at the beach, watching baseball, and chilling with her cat Soho.
