Liz Collin is an American award-winning anchor/reporter who is best known for her time at WCCO-TV from 2008 to January 2022. Prior to joining the station, she had worked at WHP-TV, KWCH-TV, and KDLT.

Since those radio days in her hometown of Worthington, Minnesota, Collin has held producing, investigative reporting, and anchoring positions at TV stations around the country.
She got her first real on-air opportunity at KDLT-TV in Sioux Falls where she worked for two years. She then worked at KWCH-TV, where she covered some hard-hitting stories like problems at a military school in Salina. In 2008, she joined WCCO in her home state of Minnesota.
In the last 10 years, her stories at WCCO have helped shape Minnesota’s public policy. Following Liz’s series about a little girl who choked to death at a Mankato daycare, daycare centers must now have more trained CPR staff. Minneapolis added more 911 dispatchers after Liz’s stories highlighted wait times as long as 3 minutes, contributing to at least one death.
Collin left WCCO after being part of the team for 14 years, she left at the beginning of the year 2022. After leaving she landed a new job, reporting for the conservative news website Alpha News.
