She joined the station in January 2018. Upon joining the station, she started out working on the morning show. She later received two Emmys for her live reporting.

The case involved a Reading mother who passed away in prison while serving time for her children’s skiving violations which caused new state legislation. Her career started when she worked for WAND in Central Illinois as a multimedia journalist.
During her time there, she edited and shot her own stories while operating a bureau in Champaign. Her work has received awards from The Associated Press and recognition from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Kilmer had her initial broadcasting experience while she was a student. Further, she worked as an intern at the CBS and FOX affiliates in Philadelphia. During her free time, she serves as a social media junkie, foodie, television show binge-consumer, and reluctant runner.
