Madeline Carter is an American anchor and reporter working at WLKY-TV where she serves as a weekend morning co-anchor. She joined the WLKY-TV team in June 2022, after previously working at KNDO-TV.

In 2011, she joined St. Peter’s High School in Mansfield, Ohio where she graduated in 2015. Later on, she joined Baldwin Wallace University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2019, with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Media and Mass Communication 2019.

Carter works at WLKY-TV where she serves as the weekend morning anchor and reporter. She is glad to be back home in Kentucky and living closer to her family in Frankfort and Louisville. Previously, she resided in Washington State, where she worked at KNDU/KNDO while serving as the weekday morning anchor. She served as the anchor of the KNDO d team coverage of the devastating Washington wildfire season in September 2020, and the coverage was later nominated for an Emmy Award.

Carter discovered her passion for broadcasting while she served as a News Director and Radio DJ for her college radio station at Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio. She attributes her participation in the Miss America Organization as the foundation for her professional and personal growth.

In the 2018 Miss Ohio Scholarship Program, she was the 1st Runner Up and she is a beneficiary of the Americanism Essay Awards, the Interview, People’s Choice, and Talent. During her leisure time, she enjoys supporting the performing arts, going to the movies, finding the next best food in town, and going to the gym.
