Marcus Bagwell Biography

Marcus Bagwell is an American Anchor/Meteorologist best known for his time at KETK where he served the station as a Chief Meteorologist between January 2019 and May 2022. He leaves the station and joins WKRN in Nashville, Tennessee where he serves the station as a Traffic Anchor & Meteorologist since June 2022. 

Marcus Bagwell Career

Bagwell works with WKRN where he serves the station as a Traffic Anchor and Meteorologist. Prior to to this, he was working with KETK News where he was serving the station as a Chief Meteorologist. While at the station, he held the role of Evening Meteorologist between February 2018 and January 2019.

He has also previously worked as a Weekend & Fill-In meteorologist between September 2013 and August 2016. Prior to KETK News, he was working with Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY where he was serving the team as a Team Leader between February 2012 and August 2013. While there, his roles include database entry and training, and also proctoring tests.

Bagwell has also worked with Wtvf in Nashville, TN where he was serving the station as a Weather Intern between May 2012 and August 2012. He happens to be a proud graduate of Hillsboro High School where he studied between 2004 and 2008. Later on, he went on to join Western Kentucky University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology and Broadcast Journalism. He studied with the team between 2008 and 2013.
