McCune serves as the sports anchor and reporter at Good Morning Arizona Monday through Wednesday and Saturday and reports on Sundays. In addition to these roles, he is also a sideline reporter for the Suns, Coyotes, D’backs, and ASU. He has also managed to win several awards ever since he started his journalism career including five Emmy Awards over a four-year span. He has also worked for other stations prior to joining GMA including Fox Sports Arizona.
McCune started his journalism career working for News 8 in Austin. He also spent several years working for KTVL in Medford, OR where he served as the sports director. Furthermore, he also worked for KREM in Spokane, WA where he worked for about three years. He went to the University of Texas where he attained his bachelor’s degree.
