Skol joined the University Of Texas in 2014 when he finished his high school education, In 2018, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. During college, he worked for Tecast Student Television as a sports volunteer for nearly 4 years.
Skol was also a production intern at Longhorn Network in Austin, Texas. Further, he worked as a sports intern at KPRC and KXAN. He delivered play-by-play commentary for SHNSports. In 2019, he and the WNDU sports team won the “Best Sports Coverage” award from the Indiana Broadcasters Association for their broadcast of Fighting Irish football.
