Nelson is a television presenter, host, writer, and producer. After joining KMTV 3 News in 2003, she helped launch, a live, lifestyle show, The Morning Blend in 2010. She serves co-hosted the show alongside Mike DiGiacomo for seven years before leaving the station in April 2017. From there, she headed to the Philadelphia area to become a program host at QVC.

Prior to moving to Nebraska, her radio and television career carried her from Kentucky to Nashville to Washington, DC, and Huntington, West Virginia. Working in television in Omaha has helped her to connect with and contribute to a community that’s been so good to me over the years.
