Matt Lively is an American Anchor/Reporter working with KCEN-TV in Temple, Texas where he serves the station as a Sports Anchor/Reporter. He has been working with the 6 News Team since January 2021.
Matt Lively Career
Lively works with KCEN 6 News where he serves the station as a Sports Anchor/Reporter. Prior to KCEN News, he was working with The E.W. Scripps Company in Bakersfield, California. There, he was serving the station as a Weekend Sports Anchor and Reporter between July 2019 and June 2020.
Previously, he has also worked with Ability360 where he was working as a Video Content Intern. There, he worked between January 2018 and June 2019. He also worked with FOX Sports Arizona as a Digital Content Intern between January 2019 and May 2019.
Asides from this, he has also worked with Arizona PBS and Cronkite News in Phoenix, Arizona Area as a Multimedia Journalist and Anchor between 2018 and May 2019. Prior to that, he worked with Pac-12 Networks in Phoenix, Arizona. there, he was a Production Team Member between October 2016 and May 2019. This is in addition to working with KASC 1330 AM Blaze Radio. He served the station’s team in Downtown Phoenix Studios as an On-Air Personality and play-by-play.
Asides from this, he also worked with the Phoenix, Arizona team as an ASU Softball Beat Reporter. He worked with the station between January 2016 and May 2016. He is a proud graduate of Arizona State University, Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Lively has experience in covering the Superbowl, Phoenix sports market, Cal State Bakersfield, more than 50 high school programs, Final Four, and Arizona State athletics.
He is a proud native of Florida and strives to lower the strokes of his goal game and continue living in warm places. Lively states that he is always looking forward to a new restaurant or place to check in town. He is also always happy to accept recommendations.
