Jasmin Caldwell is an American anchor/reporter working for KCEN-TV in Temple, Texas where she serves as a morning anchor. Previously she served as the weekend evening anchor and weekday reporter for the station.

Caldwell is a morning anchor at KCEN. Jasmin joined KCEN in 2017. Before becoming an Anchor, Caldwell was a reporter who provided extensive compelling coverage of the murder of Army soldier Vanessa Guillen. At the Central Texas military post, Guillen disappeared off Fort Hood, unleashing a months-long search, rallies, and calls for change. Caldwell attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Prior to moving to central Texas, Caldwell spent two years working as a reporter at WCAV in Charlottesville, Virginia. While in Charlottesville, she worked on some of the biggest stories in the market that made national headlines. Jasmin played a pivotal role in breaking the story about removing the confederate Robert E. Lee monument by the Charlottesville City council.
Caldwell was the first to break the news that in a Killeen neighborhood, the skeletal remains found were the body of her missing Fort Hood soldier Gregory Morales. Gregory was classified as AWOL but had been dead in a field for 11 months. She provided full funeral coverage of President George H. W. Bush as Texas A&M University prepared to bury him at his museum and library on campus. Caldwell also helped uncover the hidden story of a burial site for Texas slaves dating back to 1849, Bull Hill Cemetery.
Jasmin’s work of researching in-depth and reporting landed her appearances on Dateline, Investigation Discovery Network, Nancy Grace, and Daily Blast Live. Caldwell spent four years working as a producer in Florida before starting her broadcasting career on-air and is a huge fan of the ’80s sitcom, The Golden Girls.
