Matt Stone is an American journalist working for WFMJ as the station’s Special Projects Director. In addition, he co-anchors 21 News Midday. He joined the station on Christmas Day 1996 and has served the station for more than 20 years. Also, he works at Youngstown State University as an adjunct professor teaching broadcast journalism.

Stone joined Clarion University of Pennsylvania when he finished his high school education at Northwestern Senior High School in Albion. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
