Megan Healy is an American journalist of Asian descent working for KUSI FOX 5 as a weather anchor at 1, 4, and 5 p.m. on weekdays. She joined the station in August 2021 as a news reporter. Previously, she worked for KSBY in San Luis Obispo as a weekend anchor.

Healy holds pride in her intensive broadcast of the 1996 disappearance of Kristin Smart. She earned a feature on Dateline NBC for her reporting about a 25-year-old case including the broadcast of 2021 search warrants, arrests, preliminary hearings, and her exclusive backyard interview with the suspect’s mother.
Healy has broadcasted many wildfires, elections, storms, and crimes. These stories earned her a regional Emmy. She developed her love for storytelling and performing from her mom. They would produce at-home cooking videos to assist families in preparing healthy and kid-friendly recipes. After her mother passed away when she was 16, she decided to pursue a career in TV and journalism.
Healy loves sharing behind-the-scenes TV news and often posts her “prompter test” which allows someone to read the news as an anchor. At first, she started the segment as a playful game but she later learned that people have used the videos to learn English and refine their public speaking skills. She deems this as the most rewarding feeling.
