Melody Mendez is an American journalist working for NBC10 Boston serving as an anchor. She joined NBC 10 Boston and NECN in the Spring of 2016.

Mendez previously worked for WFLD in Chicago where she anchored the morning show. Due to her career, she has traveled to different states and cities including Champaign, Illinois, Seattle, Jackson, Tennessee, Chicago, Washington, Denver, and Colorado. She has also managed to enclose stories that hit the headlines including the Colorado theater shooting, Hurricane Katrina, and the Aurora hurricane.
