Raul Martinez is an American Sports journalist working for NBC10 Boston and NECN as a Sports Director. He joined the station in May of 2016.

Martinez attended the Texas Christian University where he attained his undergraduate degree in journalism. He, later on, went to Syracuse University where he earned his Master’s degree in broadcast journalism.

Martinez had worked with other stations prior to joining NBC10 Boston. For instance, his career began when he started to work as a weekend sports anchor for KVIA back in 2004. A year later, he was known as a Sports Director at the age of 24. After seven long years, he left El Paso and started working as the weekend sports anchor for KDVR/KWGN in Denver. He then spent four years in the Mile High City where he enclosed two Super Bowls.
Martinez’s stay in Boston has been a very busy one for he is trying all he could to find and share his stories with the viewers. He has managed to enclose a Stanley Cup Final appearance by the Bruins, three Patriots Super Bowl appearances (2 titles), the Celtics going to two Eastern Conference Finals, and a 2018 World Series title from the Red Sox.
