Mike Susko Biography
Mike Susko is an American meteorologist working for WGAL as the 12 and 4 p.m. meteorologist since joining the station in October 2024. Previously, he worked for KNWA in northwest Arkansas and WOLF-TV in northeast Pennsylvania.

Susko joined Penn State University in 2016 after finishing his education at Pennsbury High School. In May 2020, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology & Atmospheric Science with minors in Earth Systems and Energy Business & Finance (EBF).
While in college, he was involved with Campus Weather Service and was part of department productions Up in the Air, Weather Or Not, and Weather World. Susko also has a Master’s degree in Emergency Management and a Post-bachelor Certificate in Space Weather & Environment from Millersville University.

Susko’s love for the weather started as long as he can remember. He experienced everything while growing up in eastern Pennsylvania, from thunderstorms to snowstorms, hurricanes, tornado warnings, heat waves with temperatures above 100, cold outbreaks with temperatures near or below zero, tropical storms, and flash flooding. When he was a child, he used to stare outside the windows for hours and watch the clouds and storms roll in.
