Koweek serves as an anchor for Wake Up Wisconsin at News Center 7. She has managed to enclose several stories including the destruction of the Memorial Day tornadoes and the scene of the Oregon District mass shooting. During her tenure at WHIO-TV, she has managed to win several awards including a regional EMMY nomination and awards from Ohio Associated Press Media Editors and the Society of Professional Journalists Greater Cincinnati Pro Chapter. She got the two awards due to her coverage of the ex-abuse case in Springboro.

Koweek previously worked for WAOW in central Wisconsin where she served as a reporter, anchor, and producer. Prior to her tenure at WAOW-TV, she worked for WHDH in Boston where she served as a writer. She went to Boston University where she attained her Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism.
