Morse Diggs is an American reporter working for FOX 5 News. Prior to joining the station, Diggs was at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where he was the City Hall correspondent.
Morse Diggs Career
Prior to landing in Georgia, Diggs worked for the Akron Beacon-Journal. He became part of the Atlanta Journal team that won a UPI award for coverage of the John Lennon/Mark Chapman stories. Diggs is as well a participant in the Leadership Atlanta Program.
Diggs exchanged his pen for a microphone in 1982 and started his television career. Covering the Atlanta city government, he has broken many exclusive stories for FOX 5 News. His work has won him several accolades, including his induction into the Atlanta Press Club Hall of Fame.
He started his Atlanta career at the Atlanta Journal, was recruited to WAGA-TV in 1982 because the station deemed him so good they gave him on-the-job training to become a broadcast journalist. He has been working at the station for 38 years.
