Before FiOS, she worked for Fox 5’s Good Day New York and on News 12 the Bronx & Brooklyn as a morning traffic anchor. During her time there, she broadcasted Bronx communities for BronxNet TV. From May 2010 to June 2017, she served Spectrum News NY1 as a traffic anchor.
Prior to her time at NY1, she worked for Metro Networks/Shadow Traffic WCBS in New York City as a traffic producer. Further, she served as a voiceover for CityBuzz, a NYC-based lifestyle and entertainment company, which spotlights New York City happenings.
Yané serves as a volunteer for the Lupus Research Alliance. Additionally, she serves as a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. A dog lover, she has a passion for traveling and is fluent in Lingala and French.
