Bode joined the University of Florida in 2018 after she finished her education at Brenham High School. There, she studied Telecommunications. She transferred to UNC Chapel Hill in 2018, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Journalism.
Bode’s first experience in the sports industry was being an on-air analyst for North Carolina high school sports in college. In this role, she provided coverage for playoffs and state championships for the NFHS Network. She then worked as the first on-air student analyst for ACC Network Extra at UNC. Simultaneously, she served the NWSL on NBC5 as an analyst/host. As a senior in college, she pitched a show and worked as the host of almost 40 in-studio interviews with UNC athletes and coaches for a series named “Tar Heel Talks.”

Further, she broadcasted NCAA sports in written and digital content. Additionally, she worked as a digital sideline reporter, covering NCAA media days and championship games. On year later, she began working for Bleacher Report betting as a host, content creator, and strategist.
