Neena Pacholke was an eminent American anchor, reporter, and producer who worked for WAOW News 9 from May 2017 until her death on August 27, 2022. She joined the station in May 2017 where she anchored Wake Up Wisconsin on weekdays from 4:30-7 am.
The cause of her death was suicide, this was after sending texts to a friend and her ex-fiance revealing the pain she was going through right before shooting herself in the head. Her death was a result of her ex-fiance calling off their wedding. The text she wrote read “He [Kyle] told me he hates me and will feel like a million bucks once I am out of his life”. Moreover, she sent a last text to Kyle who broke things off with Neena just 7 weeks before their wedding saying ” I’m so sorry to do this to you but I can’t handle any of this pain anymore”.

And her co-anchor Brendan Mackey said Pacholke was “the brightest light in the room” with the “biggest smile and funniest laugh”. She then played six games in 2014-15 appearing for eight games.

She worked her way up through the rank from multimedia journalist to co-anchor on Wake Up Wisconsin in February 2019. Moreover, she produced and anchored the 11 am newscast. During the summer before his senior year in college, she interned with 95.5 WPLJ in New York City. And also she interned at Moffit Cancer Centre in Tampa on the video production team. During her final semester, she was an anchor and reporter for Florida Focus. This was a news brief that aired on the local PBS-WUSF channel. Before even moving to Badger State, she was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers.
