Nia Temple Booko is an American model, pageant queen, and TV personality who was crowned Miss USA 2014 and represented the United States at Miss Universe 2014, where finished as first runner-up. Since 2024, she has been a part of the main cast of Bravo TV’s The Valley since 2024. The Valley SN 2 premieres on April 15, 2025, at 9/8c on Bravo TV.

After graduating from Paloma Valley High School in 2008, Booko worked as a nanny in Europe and served on a mission in Mexico for three months. Further, she starred in several Disney princess characters at Hong Kong Disneyland where she worked for seven months in 2012. She started practicing taekwondo when she was 8 years old and now holds fifth-degree black belt, making her the first Miss USA to be featured on the cover of Tae Kwon Do Times. Additionally, she studied jazz and ballet for five years
Booko’s initial beauty pageant was joining the Miss San Jacinto Valley at the age of 13. When she was 19 years old, she won Miss Citrus Valley USA, securing her the opportunity to participate in the Miss Turismo Latino competition in Ecuador in 2009. Out of 133 contestants, she was the second runner-up of Miss California USA 2010 (as Miss Citrus Valley USA). Additionally, she participated in and won Miss Riverside County USA 2011 and Miss Hollywood USA 2012
Chelsea Caswell crowned Booko as Miss Nevada USA on January 12, 2014, at Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall when she was Miss South Las Vegas USA. On June 8, 2014, she won Miss USA 2014 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, while representing Nevada. On January 25, 2015, she represented the United States at Miss Universe 2014 at the U.S. Century Bank Arena in Doral, Miami. Additionally, she finished as first runner-up to Paulina Vega of Colombia.
Booko worked as the host of Budget or Baller in 2018 and co-hosted Miss Teen USA 2019 with Tim Tialdo. She launched a a podcast called Hold My Crown with Nia Sanchez in January 2024. On March 19, 2024, she started appearing in Bravo’s The Valley.
