Nikki Burdine is an American anchor for WKRN-TV in Nashville Metropolitan Area as a morning news anchor appearing on Good Morning Nashville. She joined the station on March 2017 as an anchor and reporter before becoming a morning news anchor on August 2017.

Burdine attended Dobyns-Bennett High School studying from 1998 to 2001. There she took part in the spirit shakers dance team, the 2001 National Champions at Universal Dance Association’s National Championship, and the TSSAA State Champions. Burdine started her career while in college as an anchor/reporter for ”Inside the Orange,” an anchor on TVC, and a show host/creator of ”Knox @ Nite.” She was also the show host of ”Sports Mecca,” College Republicans, an intern at Oxygen Channel’s ”Snapped,” a member of the National Broadcasting Society. Additionally, she was an intern at Knoxville Area Chamber of Commerce, an intern at WJHL-TV in Johnson City, TN, and a show host for ”ChamberZone” in Kingsport, TN.
Burdine started as a sports marketing coordinator for Red Zebra Broadcasting, ESPN Radio from July 2006 to September 2007. There she also worked as the programming assistant and board operator and an on-air character, in ”The John Riggins Show”. In October 2007, she joined NBC-25 WHAG as a reporter and anchor for three years until September 2010. She also became an anchor and producer for the noon/5 P.M. Show from August 2009 to September 2010 on the same station.
In October 2010, she became a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter for WLEX-TV through November 2013. Burdine then became a freelance reporter and journalist for 10 months from December 2013 to September 2014 in Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. In October of the same year, she joined WUSA-TV as a reporter in Washington D.C. Metro Area until February 2017. She then joined WKRN, Nashville, Tennessee as an anchor and reporter on March 2017, a role she held for six months to August 2017. Burdine became a morning news anchor on August 2017, a role she has held for 6 years to the present.
