Fierro serves as a morning anchor at 3TV on “Good Morning Arizona.” She previously worked for KVVU FOX5 in Las Vegas where she served as an evening news anchor from April 2009 to March 2015. Prior to her tenure at Meredith Corp, she worked for 3TV KTVK where she served as the morning anchor from January 2003 to April 2009 where she also hosted the 4:30 am – 6 am, live news updates, and guest interviews from 6 am – 9 am. Before joining 3TV KTVK, she worked for KVII-TV where she served as the morning and midday news anchor as well as a reporter from January 2001 to January 2003.

Fierro started her journalism career at KTTV FOX11 where she interned and served as a field producer, writer, and news assistant from 1997 to 2000. Fierro went to the University of California, Los Angeles where she attained her Bachelor of Arts degrees in history and women’s studies (now gender studies). Later on, after graduating, she went to UCLA’s Extension Program for broadcast journalism.

Fierro is also very active when it comes to serving the people of her community. She often makes donations and offers her time to host and volunteer at local nonprofit organizations and foundations. Some of the foundations and organizations she has worked with include Girls On the Run, March of Dimes, Valley of the Sun United Way, and Chicanos Por La Causa. She has also managed to interview and enclose several stories and events that hit the headlines all across the states and beyond. For instance, she interviewed Govs. Ducey, President Joe Biden, Michelle Kwan, Diana Taurasi, Larry Fitzgerald, and Michelle Kwan.
