Peter Alexander is an American correspondent, host, and anchor working for NBC News. He joined the station in 2004 and anchors NBC Nightly News, Today, Meet the Press, Dateline NBC, MSNBC, and NBCNews.com.

Furthermore, he worked as a host of NBC Sports and covered both the 2010 Winter Olympics and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
