Reyna Harvey Biography
Reyna Harvey is an American Anchor/Reporter working for KRON4 News in San Francisco Bay Area where she serves the station as a Traffic and News Anchor since January 2021. She, however, joined the station working as a Morning Reporter in April 2020.

Harvey attended the University of California where she studied Political Science, Media and Cultural Studies, Political Science, and Government. There she studied between 2010 and 2014 and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government. While there, she was a member of the KUCR 88.3 College Radio and African Americans and Humanities, Vagina Monologues.

Harvey works with KRON4 News where she serves the station as a Traffic and News Anchor. Previously, she has worked in towns, cities, and states such as the East Coast, Midwest, and Southern California. Asides from this, she has also worked in Bakersfield, California where she was serving the station as an anchor/reporter and doing the weather.
She has also worked as a morning reporter covering breaking and current news events in Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa. Prior to this, she was working as an intern in the communication department at the White House and for the Mayor of Riverside. In her time at the White House, she was working closely with the broadcast team, while helping craft the message of the President to the American people. In her time working in the broadcast department, she met many seasoned reporters who offered mentorship and inspired her to continue pursuing her dream of broadest journalism.
She has also previously worked as a news assistant for KABC in Los Angeles. There, she fell in love with journalism and storytelling. In her time at KABC, she helped in producing content for the hourly newscasts and worked on the assignment desk. Asides from this, she has worked in production for networks such as PBS, KTLA Channel 5 News in Hollywood, The Oprah Winfrey Network, and the Arsenio Hall. Asides from this, she is a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Away from work, she enjoys being a part of the community, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
