Rob Namnoum is an American Sports Director for KRDO-TV. Namnoum is truly a lifelong sports enthusiast. At a young age, he would entertain himself by doing play-by-play while watching different games. Even more ambitious then, Namnoum did both the “play-by-play” and the color analysis of the action.

While Namnoum has been on the KRDO NewsChannel 13 sports team since 1999. Previously he was a sports producer in Hartford and sports director in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Since coming to work at KRDO NewsChannel 13, Namnoum has become multiple recipients of the Colorado Broadcasters Association “Sportscaster of the Year” and has won the Colorado Associated Press “Best Sports Show” along with being awarded “Best Sportscast.”

Namnoum has had many memorable experiences covering the exciting sports happenings throughout Colorado, but some of his favorites include the 2005 AFC Championship, the 2004 March Madness in Denver, and the 2001 Avalanche Stanley Cup Championship. During his free time, Namnoum is always exhilarated, his time with his family is the most precious to him. He credits them with helping him develop a strong work ethic.

Rob Namnoum Heart Attack

On September 9, 2019, Namnoum suffered a heart attack and underwent surgery. In February 2020, Five months after his heart attack, Namnoum shared the personal details of his survival. He was playing basketball before work when he started to feel sick. Rob drove home and when he reached it he started to uncontrollably sweat. He called his wife who came home and called 911 and he was taken to the hospital. He was released from the hospital a mere three days after his heart attack.
