Robin Marsh is an American Emmy award-winning anchor/reporter/author/motivational speaker working for News 9/KWTV-DT where she serves as an anchor. She has served as the network’s anchor for more than two decades.
Robin Marsh Career
Marsh is an Emmy award-winning American journalist who joined the News9 team in April 1995. She anchors the network’s This Morning and @9am weekday mornings. Having tenured for the network for more than two decades, she has been pivotal to the network’s significant coverages including Destructive Tornados, several headline events, and The Oklahoma City Bombing. She was accorded the 2021 Heartland Emmy Award for his gas explosion coverage that left the Metro Family Homeless.
Marsh has several honors that have been accorded to him for his excellence in feature reporting from the National Academy of Television Journalists. She was also honored by the Society of Professional Journalists and was named Journalist of the Year in Oklahoma. Marsh has also been honored as a “Woman of Distinction” by the Girl Scouts of America. She has also featured a series of reports on breast cancer that can be found on display at the National Museum of Broadcast Journalism Center in Chicago.
Aside from her journalistic career, Marsh is also a motivational speaker and an author who has authored two books for teen girls. Recently she has featured the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon. Additionally, she also tenured for Oklahoma’s Baptist Foundation as a proud member of the board of directors. She also volunteers each year for the Special Olympics and many other charitable organizations. During the summer season in 1997, Marsh was accorded the privilege to speak to more than 7,000 Oklahoma students attending the Falls Creek Church Camp. Marsh is an accomplished equestrian and has competed in rodeos in both Oklahoma and Texas for more than 12 years.
