Ryan Argenti Biography
Ryan Argenti is an American meteorologist working for WGAL as a weekend meteorologist. He joined the station in July 2024 as a weather intern and was later promoted to a meteorologist in September 2024. Previously, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a minor in Media Arts Production from Millersville University.

Argenti joined Millersville University in 2020 after finishing his education at Solanco High School. In 2024, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a minor in Media Arts Production. While in college, he was a student assistant at the National AMS Conference in Houston in 2022 and Denver in 2023.
Argenti participated in MU’s Campus Weather Service, where he was a lead forecaster for three years. Also, he worked as a forecaster for MUTV, Millersville University’s TV station. He developed and co-led Project TILTTING, which was aimed at better understanding the behavior and dynamics of tornadoes in the Northeast and Great Plains. Also, he controlled project finances, logistics, and organized a two-week professional storm chasing trip in the Great Plains with eight personnel in May 2024. Aside from TILTTING, he participated in several other research projects.

An Eagle Scout from Troop 83 in Leola, he made benches for Climbers Run Nature Center, a part of the Lancaster Conservancy, for his service project. He serves as a member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS).
