Ryan Coulter Biography
Ryan Coulter is an American meteorologist working for WLOS as a weekday morning meteorologist since joining the station in December 2019. After graduating college, he worked for KVII, the ABC affiliate in Amarillo, Texas.

Coulter joined Metropolitan State University of Denver when he finished his high school education. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism with a Meteorology minor. He is furthering his studies at Mississippi State University.

Coulter works for WLOS as a weekday morning meteorologist. While growing up, he was fascinated with wintertime snow and the springtime storms that came through the region. For this reason, he always knew that he wanted to study the weather.
Coulter’s TV first work was as an editor at an NBC affiliate in Denver. There, he learned all the basics of working in a newsroom. After graduating college, he worked for KVII, the ABC affiliate in Amarillo, Texas. In Amarillo, he gained experience pursuing severe thunderstorms, including spring tornadoes, extreme winter storms, and high wind events across the High Plains.
