Apart from working as a journalist, Samantha served as a content writer at The Odyssey from May 2017 to December 2018. Earlier, she spent four months working for the Gator Vision as a student volunteer. Besides this, she worked as a film member at AMC Theatres in Brandon, Florida. While there, Serbin was responsible for managing policy enforcement, delivering guest service, and managing money spent. She worked there for two years and eight months from January 2013 to August 2015.
