Samm Marshall is a South African anchor/author/producer/host working for SABC News where he serves as an anchor. He joined the network in November 2010 serving as the network’s sports anchor.

Marshall works at SABC News since November 2010 as the network’s sports anchor. For the previous year, he was made responsible for the network’s weekends both producing and hosting. Having previously tenured at e-tv’s Morning Editions, he served at SABC International’s The Weekender and Sports Action. Marshall greatly believes that he was destined to be a journalist right from a young age.
He began his career at the age of 14 years where he would recording himself on an old tape cassette in his bedroom. During his records, he would emulate some of the notable radio personalities of the day. Years later he was given an opportunity at an audition to launch his plan which to him was a dream come true. He believes in his freaky personality and taking life on the Chin has played a vital role for more than decades leading him to love his love. Aside from work, he loves writing and music. Currently, he major in his debut novel and he has great hope that it would one day pay his bills.
