Upon completing high school, Savannah went on to join Southern Methodist University in 2012 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Journalism, and a minor in Human Rights in 2016. She also furthered her studies abroad in London and was an active member of Delta Gamma sorority. On top of this, Louie also worked at SMU-TV as an anchor.

Louise serves as a multimedia journalist and news anchor at 10 p.m. on CBS46 and WGCL in Atlanta, Georgia. Before joining CBS46 in September 2021, she worked for KSDK -TV as a morning news anchor and reporter. She spent two years and two months from September 2019 to October 2021. Earlier, Savannah served as a fill-in co-host, MMJ, and correspondent at KENS 5 in San Antonio, Texas. Later on, she worked as an MMJ, fill-in traffic anchor, and reporter from December 2017 to September 2019. During her tenure at KENS 5, She co-hosted a radio show called “He Said, She Said” bimonthly which aired on ESPN.
Prior to working for KENS 5, Louise served as an MMJ and TV host at Knoxville Weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee. She also supervised the social media platform and updated the events calendar. Before that, Savannah served as host and producer at the Happenings on the Hilltop in Dallas, Texas.
She began her professional career at SMU-TV in Dallas as a writer from August 2014 to May 2016. While there, Louie was responsible for operating the teleprompter and editing videos. In addition to this, she also worked as an intern at CBS 11 News. She also wrote for the The Daily Update and covered news for the station. Previously, she served as a writer, editor, and PR Specialist at nectorOM from November 2014 to August 2015.
Apart from working as a journalist, Louise worked as a conference staff at the Philosophical Society of Texas from February 2014 to February 2014. Before that, she worked for Bratton & Co. as an office administrator and event program coordinator from 2012 to 2014.
