Shally Zomorodi is an American journalist working for KUSI FOX 5 as a weekday anchor from 6 to 10 a.m. since joining the station in October 2008. Before serving KUSI, she anchored the two-hour live morning show, DAYBREAK OC.

While competing for Miss California USA, her life changed when the producers of KTTV FOX 11 in Los Angeles awarded her for journalism. As a result, she got the chance to tour the Los Angeles studios where she attained advice on how to begin a broadcasting career. That day turned into an internship and eventually a job where she worked as a news assistant for Good Day L.A. She decided to leave law school and has never looked back since then.
Zomorodi secured her first on-air job at the ABC affiliate in Beaumont where she served Good Morning Southeast Texas. She then relocated to Southern California where she has remained ever since. She has served Voice of America as a video journalist and City View Channel 35 as a reporter and host. Before serving KUSI, she anchored the two-hour live morning show, DAYBREAK OC.
