Shayne Wright is an American AP award-winning reporter/director/anchor working for WPBF 25 as a weekend news anchor. He joined WPBF 25 News in August 2018.

Wright serves as a weekend anchor at WPBF 25 News. Prior to joining WPBF25, he worked at KSLA News 12 where he served as a morning News Anchor from May 2017. Prior to that, he worked at WALB-TV where he served as the weekend Sports Anchor from June 2010 to July 2013. From January 2007 to July 2010, he worked at NBC 6 where he served as a videographer and sports journalist. Prior to that, he worked at The United States Air Force where he served as a civil Engineer from February 2002 to February 2006.

Wright has also won several awards including an AP award for “Best Sportscast.” In addition to that, he was also awarded a Georgia Association of Broadcasting award for “Best Sports Feature Story.” He went to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland where he attained his high school diploma. He, later on, joined LSU Shreveport where he attained his B.A. in Electronic Media Journalism in 2010.
