Steve Doocy born Stephen James Doocy is an American Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter working at FOX News. He joined the station in 1996.

Doocy attended Kansas grammar schools in n Russell, Salina, and industry. In Wakefield, Doocy attended high juniors and in Clay Center, Kansas, high schools. He has a BS in journalism from Kansas University, Lawrence. He was the first KJHK radio on-air DJ, the student-run radio station in Lawrence (90.7 FM).

In addition to this, he also provides viewers with the latest political, news, and entertainment headlines and involves in a variety of topical discussions alongside his co-hosts. Furthermore, he is also the host of Cooking with Steve Doocy on FOX News Media’s streaming service FOX Nation.

Since he joined the station, he has also managed to interview well-known public figures and celebrities including former President George W. Doocy previously worked for WCBS-TV where he served as a co-anchor of the network’s Early Morning Newscast in New York. He also served as the host of Wake Up America on NBC’s then-cable network America’s Talking. In addition to these roles, he was also the anchor of FOX’s children’s news magazine, Not Just News. From 1989 to 1990, he served as the host of NBC’s nationally syndicated program House Party. His journalism career started at WRC-TV (NBC) in Washington, DC., where he served as a feature reporter.

Kathy is a cancer survivor who battled ocular melanoma. Through a trip to purchase shades in New Jersey, she and Doocy found out about her having eye cancer. They had visited their eye doctor in New Jersey when a freckle was located on the back of her eye. She was told to return after three months to check it out again.

When they visited the doctor again, they were told to see a retinal specialist. After their visit to the specialist, she was diagnosed with ocular melanoma diagnosis(eye cancer). Through radioactive plaque therapy, she was treated for 5 solid days.

In fear of living her family, she decided to create a cookbook.This was because her family enjoyed sitting around the dinner table nightly and eating a good home-cooked meal. As a result, Happy Cookbook series came to be.

Doocy’s youngest child, Sally tied the knot on 1st August 2020 with her husband Ali at the Brazilian Court Hotel and Cafe Boulud in Palm Beach. Her older sibling, Peter officiated the wedding after the priest passed away. Initially, they had planned the wedding for 2nd May but decided to change the date to August 1st because of Covid-19. They had planned the wedding a year prior. Despite the global pandemic, looming Hurricane Isaias and a nationwide ban on dancing, they married.
