Steve McMurray is an American Manager/Director working for WKTV in Utica, New York where he serves the station as a Vice President and General Manager. He has been working in this role since March 2014.

The Frankfort native is a proud graduate of S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. There, he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism. Asides from this, he also attended Frankfort-Schuyler High School. He was named to the school’s Wall of Honor in the year 2018.

Asides from this, he also held the role of Sports Director for four years before making a move to news full-time.
Being a lifelong Central New Yorker, he enjoys serving the community a lot. Asides from this, he has been a member of the Frankfort Fire Department where he served for about 28 years. There, he served the team as an Assistant Chief for about thirteen years. He is now serving as the Company President. He is also a Past President of the Frankfort Kiwanis Club, where he now holds the post of Club Secretary. McMurray is a past President of the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.
Asides from this, he is a Past President of the Frankfort Kiwanis Club. There, he holds the post of Club Secretary. He is also a past President of the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association. McMurray is serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.
