Steve Raleigh is an American meteorologist working for WCPO-TV as a chief meteorologist. He joined the station in July 2005, after working as a chief meteorologist at KRON-TV in San Francisco Bay.

Upon completing high school, Steve attended North Carolina University at Charlotte where he received a degree in Meteorology and Earth Science. He also furthered his study at Boston University where he graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. In addition, he also holds a certification from the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society.

Previously, he spent two years working for WCNC-TV as a chief meteorologist. He served the station from November 1987 to November 1989. Earlier, Raleigh worked in Cincinnati, Ohio as a meteorologist and reporter at WLWT-TV from November 1985 to November 1987.
He started his journalism career in February 1983 as a reporter and meteorologist at WREG-TV in Memphis, Tennessee. Steve worked for the station for two years and ten months from February 1983 to November 1985. Apart from working as a journalist, he is also involved in community service, serving as an auctioneer or master of ceremonies. There, Raleigh works with various non-profit organizations such as Madi’s House which he joined after he lost his daughter.
