He also won an Ohio State Award for Excellence in Informational, Educational, and Public Affairs Broadcasting. In addition to all these awards, he was also awarded the American Cancer Society’s Gaspar Award.
He also won the Press Club of Long Island’s 2016 Media Awards First Place 2016. In 1981, he was licensed as an emergency medical technician in New York State. Furthermore, he also holds a certificate in technical analysis of the futures markets from the New York Institute of Finance.
