Terry Stackhouse is an American journalist working for WMTW as a co-anchor at 5 p.m. since August 2023. Before that role, he served the station as a weekend anchor and reporter. He joined the station in May 2020 as a reporter. Previously, he worked for Spectrum News in Albany, New York as an executive producer of Capital News.

As a reporter in WMTW News 8’s Project Community series, Stackhouse has worked to boost the voices of Mainers looking to reinforce the state by celebrating diversity. Since he was a child, he has been passionate about storytelling.
When he was 16, he began serving his hometown public access TV station in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. There, he broadcasted high school sports and covered local public affairs. During his early reporting career, he broadcasted the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in San Francisco in 2007 and the Academy Awards in Los Angeles in 2010.
