Developmental territories/NXT (2009–2012)

Bullard penned a developmental deal with WWE in 2009. In this capacity, he started training with their development territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. He debuted on TV as Titus O’Neil in a tag team match with Skip Sheffield on the January 16, 2010, episode of FCW’s show on Bright House Sports Network. However, he lost to the team of Vance Archer and Alex Riley.

After teaming with Damien Sandow on December 3, 2010, O’Neil won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship after defeating Xavier Woods and Mason Ryan in a match for the vacant championship. However, they lost the championship to  Seth Rollins and Richie Steamboat on March 25, 2011.

During the second season of WWE NXT, O’Neil competed with Zack Ryder as his mentor. In June 2011, he debuted with Ryder as his partner, but lost to John Morrison and Eli Cottonwood. After arguing during and after that match, they made up the next week. Two weeks later, he was the first person to be eliminated for NXT Season 2, giving a farewell speech before leaving the area. On July 12th, he fought with Darren Young and Derrick Bateman in a triple-threat elimination match, which he lost to Bateman. 8 days later, he partnered with NXT host Matt Striker against Darren Young and Derrick Bateman after he pinned Darren, leading to his victory.

O’Neil worked with Percy Watson on the September 8 episode of WWE Superstars match against Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks, which they lost that match. However, they claimed victory in the match against Derrick Bateman and Tyson Kidd and Bateman and JTG. The pair later lost to Darren Young and JTG.

On November 16, 2011, O’Neil was attacked by a returning Darren Young. Following this, Young won two tag team matches against him. Their feud ended when Young lost to O’Neil in a no disqualification match on January 18, 2012. After the match, O’Neil became a villain, openly criticizing the audience, his former mentor Hornswoggle, and the entire NXT program.

On January 25, 2012, O’Neil persuaded Percy Watson to turn his back on the fans, just like he had previously. After Watson’s refusal, he shoved him, leading to a match between them. The Prime Time Players (2012–2014)

The Prime Time Players, a professional wrestling tag team composed of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil, debuted as a team in January 2012. During the April 18 episode of NXT, an announcement revealed that O’Neil and Darren Young had joined the main roster. They debuted on the April 20 episode of SmackDown, clinching a win against The Usos. They continued with the winning streak until May 18th, when they lost to  Kofi Kingston and R-Truth, WWE Tag Team Champions.

On the June 1 edition of SmackDown, O’Neil and Young named themselves the Prime Time Players. During the No Way Out pay-per-view, O’Neil and Young won the fatal-four-way tag team match, becoming the #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship after A.W. betrayed his clients Primo & Epico. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated them after they challenged them for the WWE Tag Team Championship. During the August 10 episode of SmackDown, O’Neil and Young won the 1-contenders match against Primo & Epico by disqualification after A.W. provoked Kofi Kingston and R-Truth, who were commentators at the time, into interfering.

Despite losing A.W., the Prime Time Players won a title shot at SummerSlam. However, Kingston and R-Truth defeated them. During the September 7 episode of SmackDown, they beat Primo and Epico and The Usos in a triple threat tag team match, winning another shot at the title. Three days later, they appeared on Raw and lost their title shot to the partnership of Kane and Daniel Bryan. O’Neil participated in a 10-man elimination tag team match at Survivor Series but was eliminated by Tyson Kidd.

2013 to 2014

O’Neil joined the Royal Rumble match at number 7 in 2013, but was eliminated by Sheamus. During the March 18 episode of Raw, O’Neil played a new character named Rufus “Pancake” Patterson, his “uncle.” He accompanied Darren Young as Rufus in his match against John Cena, where Young lost.

During the August 19, 2013, episode of Raw, the Prime Time Players turned face, winning against The Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger). On the Night of Champions pre-show, they won a tag team turmoil by entering last, securing a chance to challenge The Shield for the WWE Tag Team Championship. However, they lost to Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns on the pay-per-view. Strengthening their ‘face’ status, they saved Daniel Bryan from being hurt by Randy Orton. Later, they were forced into a 3-on-1 handicap gauntlet match against The Shield, alongside Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, and Rob Van Dam, as ordered by COO Triple H.

Slater-Gator (2014–2015)

During the January 31, 2014, episode of SmackDown, O’Neil let Curtis Axel pin Young during a tag-team match. Following the match, he assaulted Young, becoming a villain and disbanding the Prime Time Players. O’Neil beat Young at Elimination Chamber.

During the February 26 episode of Main Event, Young beat O’Neil in a rematch. After this loss, O’Neil began a series of defeats to wrestlers like Big Show, Sheamus, and Dolph Ziggler. Between mid-April to mid-June, he started appearing on Superstars, where he suffered numerous defeats to Kofi Kingston and Big E. He was also defeated during the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX, a battle royal for the WWE United States Championship in May, a Money in the Bank qualifying battle royal in June, and a battle royal for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Battleground.

In July, O’Neil formed a pair with Heath Slater, later known as Slater-Gator. The pair fought on Main Event and Superstars in July and August. They won against ack Ryder and Sin Cara and Gold and Stardust, but lost to El Torito and Hornswoggle and Big E and Kofi Kingston.

In September, Slater-Gator lost several matches to Adam Rose and the team of Rose and The Bunny. After entering the Royal Rumble, he was eliminated by Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in 4 seconds.

The Prime Time Players reunion (2015–2016)

During the February 16 episode of Raw, O’Neil saved his former tag team partner Darren Young from an attack from The Ascension, disbanding Slater-Gator. Slater recognized their disbandment on social media, saying that he has decided to focus on himself. The Prime Time Players made their official return, battling The Ascension during the February 23 episode of Raw.

O’Neil was eliminated by Ryback during the 2nd Annual André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31. The Prime Time Players fought in the first-ever Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. However, they were eliminated last by defending champions The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods).

The Prime Time Players beat The New Day at Money in the Bank, winning the Tag Team Championship. This was their first title in WWE. They defended their titles in a rematch at Battleground, defeating The New Day again. However, they lost the WWE Tag Team Championships to The New Day at SummerSlam during a fatal–four-way match. November 2015 to 2016

During the November 9 episode of Raw, O’Neil joined the 16-man tournament to determine the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. However, he lost to Kevin Owens in the first round. Next, he appeared in a five-on-five elimination tag team match on the Survivor Series kick-off show. He partnered with The Dudley Boyz, Neville, and Goldust to defeat Stardust, The Ascension, The Miz, and Bo Dallas.

 On February 9, 2016, O’Neil was suspended for 60 days for unprofessional behavior after he had a confrontation with Vince McMahon. Following his suspension, he returned on the May 2 episode of Raw, participating in a battle royal to determine the top contender for the WWE United States Championship.

O’Neil feuded with United States Champion Rusev during the May 26 episode of SmackDown. As a result, a match was scheduled between them at Money in the Bank, which O’Neil lost. Following the match, Rusev taunted and disrespected O’Neil’s children. Despite a match being scheduled for the next night on Raw, he attacked Rusev before the match began. Their feud ended after O’Neil to Rusev on the July 4 episode of Raw.

Titus Worldwide (2016–2018)

On July 19, 2016, O’Neil was drafted to Raw during the WWE draft. He began a gradual turn to villainy after debuting on the August 1 episode of Raw. He questioned his former tag partner Darren Young’s intentions about being great again. Later that night, he defeated Young by pinning him while holding onto his tights. Following the match, O’Neil got into a backstage confrontation with Young’s manager, Bob Backlund, leading to Young defending Backlund by attacking him.

Following the week after on Raw, Young took revenge on O’Neil’s by grabbing his tights, mimicking the way O’Neil defeated him on August 1st. They reconciled during the August 15 episode of Raw, teaming up again to fight against The Shining Stars. However, O’Neil betrayed Young during the match by attacking him with a Clash of the Titus, solidifying his turn to a villainous character.

From September 2016, O’Neil started a losing streak while launching a new gimmick known as “The Titus Brand.” During the October 31 episode of Raw, he participated in a battle royal for a spot on Team Raw at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view against Team SmackDown. However, he lost his chance after Sami Zayn eliminated him. After Apollo Crews was drafted to Raw, O’Neil’s new “Titus Brand” recruited him in April 2017. He also recruited cruiserweight Akira Tozawa, renaming the brand to “Titus Worldwide.”

November 2017 to 2018

O’Neil recruited Brooke to join “Titus Worldwide after she lost a match to Asuka on the November 27, 2017, episode on Raw. Brooke officially appeared with Crews and O’Neil during the January 1, 2018, episode of Raw. He fought and lost to Bray Wyatt, leading Akira Tozawa to quietly leave the team. O’Neil and Crews beat  Cesaro and Sheamus during the January 8, 2018 episode of Raw. They then challenged Cesaro and Sheamus for their Tag Team Championships during the January 29 episode of Raw. However, they failed to get the titles.

Crews and O’Neil participated in another match for the Raw Tag Team Championships n February 25 at Elimination Chamber, but failed to succeed. On Raw the next night, Cesaro and Sheamus beat Titus Worldwide in a 2 out of 3 falls match to keep the title, winning 2–0 to end the feud. O’Neil lost both matches at the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at the WrestleMania 34 kickoff show.

O’Neil participated in the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble event, where Braun Strowman eliminated him. He famously tripped and slid underneath the ring while running to the ring during this match. As a result, multiple internet memes and reactions from fellow wrestlers spawned. A few days later, he tried making amends during a match between Baron Corbin and No Way Jose, which backfired when he slipped and fell from the apron.

During the September 3 episode of Raw, Dana Brooke left with Titus Worldwide after a mid-match coaching backfired, causing Brooke and Ember Moon to lose to Bayley and Sasha Banks. Crews returned as a singles competitor during the October 15 episode of Raw, leading to the disbandment of Titus Worldwide. On the November 2 episode of Main Event, O’Neil returned to singles competition, beating Mojo Rawley.

2019 to present;

O’Neil joined the Royal Rumble match at No. 11 in 2011. However, he lasted for only five seconds before Curt Hawkins eliminated him. Next, he appeared in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35, where he eliminated Heath Slater. However, he was eliminated by Mustafa Ali moments later. During the May 20 episode of Raw, O’Neil became the first holder of the 24/7 Championship. Even so, his reign as champion ended less than a minute later when Robert Roode pinned him.

The Raw episode from May 4, 2020, showed O’Neil competing in a Last Chance Gauntlet match for a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Money in the Bank. He opened the tournament, fighting Bobby Lashley, who later defeated him. He tried joining The Hurt Business on the October 19 episode of Raw, but was rejected and attacked. During his last match in WWE, he challenged Lashley, a member of The Hurt Business, for the United States Championship. However, he lost to him in just over one minute.

O’Neil worked as the co-host of  WrestleMania 37 with Hulk Hogan. Further, he received the Warrior Award on April 6, 2021. He later returned to WrestleMania 39, working as a commentator with Michael Cole and Corey Graves during the men’s WrestleMania Showcase tag team match on Night One. He also delivered commentary during the WWE Intercontinental Championship match on Night Two.
