Theo Cook is an American meteorologist working for WATE as a broadcast meteorologist since joining the station in June 2025. This marks the start of his career after graduating from Mississippi State University in May 2025.

Cook joined Mississippi State University in August 2021 after finishing his high school education. In May 2025, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences with a concentration in Professional Meteorology and an emphasis in Broadcast Meteorology. He also minored in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. While in college, he worked as a weather intern at at WAPT 16 in Jackson, Mississippi.

Cook works for WATE as a broadcast meteorologist. In this role, he handles routine forecasts, live weather updates, and tracks severe local weather patterns across East Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. He gained hands-on field experience immediately after graduating from college, spending several weeks out in the field chasing severe tornadoes across the Great Plains.
