She field anchored during the station’s wall-to-wall breaking news coverage of “Found Alive.” Before Cleveland, she interned at KABC and E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles. She then secured jobs at WNDU in South Bend, Indiana, WPEC in West Palm Beach, Florida, and WSVN.
Tucker is also active in the community, working on the board and committee of the Achievement Centers for Children. Further, she works on the board of the Kidney Foundation of Ohio and supports the American Heart Association and Susan G. Komen.
Tucker worked as a competitive ice skater for over 15 years. She, alongside her skating partner, made history as the first African-American ice dancing team and won a bronze medal at the U.S. National Championships.
