Tim Pham is an American Anchor/Reporter/Forecaster working with KREM 2 News where he serves the station as a co-anchor for Up with KREM every weekday. He joined the KREM News team in February 2019.

Pham works with KREM News where he serves the station as a co-anchor for Up With KREM every weekday. He grew up in Seattle and earned a degree in Journalism and Media Production from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University(Go Cougs!).

Later on, after his graduation, he went on to join KFBB-TV located in Great Falls, Montana where he was serving the station as a reporter. After that, he was promoted to morning anchor and weather forecaster. Six months down the line, he was made part of a team that launched a statewide morning show with KULR-TV based out of Billings, Montana.

He traded the cold winters of Central Montana for the warm natural beauty of Chattanooga, Tennessee. While there, in the south, he was selected by WRCB-TV to lead the station’s hurricane coverage. Asides from this, he also traveled to Houston when Hurricane Harvey made landfall and told stories of people making a difference in Panama City Beach, Florida during Hurricane Michael. Asides from this, he also appeared on NBC’s TODAY Show, and MSNBC when deadly tornadoes swept across the southeast in the year 2016.

Away from work, he is an active community member and volunteers to emcee events, mentor future journalists, and for local non-profits. Additionally, he is a proud member of the Asian Journalist Association(AAJA) and a student organization advisor at Washington State University. When away from duties, he loves coming up with a new recipes, spending time with his beagle, Baxter, and working out.
