She won 7 Emmys while working for the New York Knicks Broadcasts on MSG Networks from 2008 to 2017. In 2014, she received the “Distinguished Terrapin Excellence in Journalism Award” from the College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. Also, she won the Nutley, New Jersey Hall of Fame Class of 2011.
Previously, she worked for CBS Sports Network as a sideline reporter for college football and college basketball. She worked for SiruisXM NBA Radio as a host, making her the first female lead host in 2015. Moreover, she worked as a play-by-play announcer for the Olympic Games with Westwood One Radio. Cervasio served the NFL on FOX, and NBA on TNT as a sideline reporter and was a field reporter for the Boston Red Sox on the New England Sports Network (NESN).
Aside from journalism, she participates in charities. For instance, she annually works as an emcee for several fundraisers including United Way of New York. She serves the Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation/David Diehl Golf Invitational on its fundraising committee. Regularly, she visits New York City Public Schools to inspire with Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation. In 2008, 2009, and 2013, she ran the New York City Marathon for the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
She is a volunteer member of the community thus she has volunteered for Fundraising at the American Cancer Society from January 2009 to January 2015.
